Recently, SFI has introduced a new ASTRO AUCTION section, within its Pricebenders Auction division.
Therefore, now tripleclicks store has TWO different types of auctions in its “BID” section:-
(1) The first one is Pricebenders auction section, which simply operates the same way a penny auction site operates. You simply place a bid in any pricebenders penny auction, and watch other bidders, and device your own strategies on how to outbid others and win the auction. This will require your time and presence within the auction.
(2) The second one is ASTRO AUCTION section, where you don’t have to be present all the time the auction is running. You just determine in advance, how many BIDS or TCredits you are going to use in any particular astro auction, and then just place your bids. That’s it. Then all you have to do is to watch a 2 minute presentation video, and you will be notified whether you won the auction or not. And you can watch this 2 minute presentation anytime within the next 7 days after you placed your bid in that particular astro auction. You will get the link to that presentation within your email inbox, after you place your bid in any astro auction.
So, how does ASTRO AUCTION works?
The process is quite simple, actually.
If you are not still a member of tripleclicks, you can go to this page, and join tripleclicks.
After joining tripleclicks, follow the below procedures:-
First you go to the auction index page
Then select to go to the Astro auction index page.
Once you are in the Astro auction index page, here you will see there all current astro auctions listed. These are the auctions that are going to start (these auctions may be either in fueling stage or boarding stage).
Each currently listed astro auction will go through following stages:-
(1) FUELING stage, where it will accept bids from bidders, then it will go to
(2) BOARDING stage, where it will check everything is right, and then it will go to
(3) the 2 minutes LAUNCH stage, where each auction participant can watch a 2 minute presentation of the 20 top bidders of that auction, and also the prizes they are winning.
You can place bids in any auction when in FUELING and BOARDING stage. Just go to the astro auction index page, and click the “bid” button beside any astro auction you would like to take part, and enter how many TCredits you want to enter for that auction.
You can choose to put only one Tcredit, or more than one. The more TCredits you put, the higher your chances of winning.
In the next screen, you need to choose how many TCredits you want to earmark for constellation prizes, and how many TCredits you want to receive back.
For example, if you had put 3 TCredits for the bid button, then you can choose 1 TCredit out of them, as for constellation prizes.
Then 1 TCredit (3 minus 1 minus 1) will be returned to your account when this astro auction launches.
3 minus 1 minus 1 means, 1 tcredit deducted for consteallation prizes, and 1 TCredit as processing fee, for each astro auction you take part.
In the next screen, you will be asked to input your pick the bid entry.
Your Pick the bid entry is your prediction of the number of TCredits the winning bidder has put in this auction.
For example, if the auction is won by someone who has placed 73 TCredits as bid in that auction, and if your pick the bid prediction entry is closest to 73, you will win the pick the bid prize for this auction, which is 500 rewardicals.
After you confirm your astro auction bid entry, by going through all these screens, then wait for a few minutes, till this auction goes through the FUELING stage (first stage) and the BOARDING stage (second stage).
Once the boarding stage (SECOND STAGE) is complete, you will get an email alert with a link to the launch page of the auction.
You need to click on that link, to go to that astro auction launch page, which will play for around 2 minutes. During this 2 minutes it will show top 20 bidders for that auction (who used 20 highest number of TCredits for this auction).
During this 2 minutes play, you will also be shown what constellation prizes you are winning (these prizes can be MOVES for zackjack or grandmaster poker game, or a daily crown entry, or a number of rewardical tokens etc).
After the two minutes launch play is over, you need to claim the prizes you won, by clicking on the CLAIM PRIZE button. This claim prize button will appear only after the 2 minute presentation is over.

WHY ASTRO auction is more interesting than Pricebenders penny auction?
