Network Marketing is a business. And like any other business, you have to learn how to work smart instead of working hard, and still get result or profit from your business. In other words, you must learn how to be more productive with your current network marketing company.

Remember that working hard or working long hours is not a necessity in this business of network marketing. You can stay online for 12 hours a day, and still accomplish nothing if you are not doing anythging that moves your network marketing business forward.

However if you have found or developed a good plan, strategy or system that is working for you then you can work less hours and still get more result out of your network marketing business.

Below I have discussed FOUR TIPS on how to be more productive with your current network marketing company.

So once you have joined a good network marketing or MLM company, if you follow these tips, you are going to be more successful, gain momentum faster and earn more income with your current network marketing company.

Tip #1 : Stay Focused With Your Current MLM Company

Once you have joined a good MLM company, my suggestion is to completely stay focused on THAT COMPANY ONLY and don’t get involved with anything else. Just stay focused with that company for next few weeks or months and learn more about that company, study its products, compensation plan etc and keep working continually with that company only.

You will be presented with new lucrative money making schemes everyday, but you have avoid all these distractions and stay focused with your current MLM company.

Just think about this. What is going to happen if you are working with two companies simultaniously? You are splitting your focus, time and energy between these two programs and hence you are less efficient in both of them. What is going to happen if you are working with three programs simultaneously? You are splitting your focus, time and energy between these three programs and you are even more less efficient in each of them.

On the other hand, if you just stay focused on just one MLM company, you will get time to think about how to maximize your income and get more leverage out of your current company. You will feel less stressed and hence can think more clearly. You will build momentum with your current company faster. You will also have more free time which is quite essential for your productivity (see next tip).

Tip #2: Spend More Time on Frontline Activities

Once you have joined a good MLM company, there are two main activities that you need to spend most of your time – Sponsoring and Retailing.

Sponsoring = Generaing new leads under you, showing them business presentation and properly guide and support them.

Retailing = Selling main products of the company.

You can focus on any one of these two activities, or both of them.

The more time you spend on these two activities, the more you get accustomed with these two activities and after some days you develop HABIT of doing these activities. Then it becomes easier for you to do these two activities on a regular basis.

Remember that sponsoring and retailing are the activities which is ultimately going to bring you residual income, month after month. So the more time you spend on these two activities the quicker you bring your profit or revenue.

Tip #3 : Make Sure You Have Free Time in Your Day

As I said before, working hard or working long hours is irrelevant in this business, if your strategies or plans are not working.

Remember that as a business owner, having free time in your day is quite important. Your free time not only energizes you, but it also helps unload all the information you have in your brain and help reorganize them properly. Your perspective about what you want becomes more clear, and hence you are more efficient when you go to work for the next time.

Many successful network marketers and other online business owners understand the importance of having time off during the day when they do nothing. They gain power, energy, clarity when they unplug or disconnect from all the noise online.

You have to do the same. Have an awareness of how much free time you have in your day. Work in blocks of time. Take a break after every two hours of work. You will find that you are more efficient at your work when you come back.

Decide in advance, at the start of the day how much time you are going to work for the day. Then stick to that schedule. Make sure you are not scheduling all your available hours for your work. Keep some of these time for you when you do NOTHING.

Creating a to do list is going to help you in having more free time in your day (see next tip).

Tip #4 : Work From A Plan (Create A To Do List)

Get a notebook, and on every Sunday evening decide in advance what activities you are going to do for the next 7 days, to grow your network marketing business. Write them down as to do list items in your notebook.

As mentioned in the previous tip, you want to spend most of your time on sponsoring and retailing.

So write down your plan on how you are going to do any one or both of these two activites for the next 7 days.

Remember that your plan or to do list items for the coming days is not set in stone. You can change them anytime if you feel to do so.

But when you write down your plan on a notebook, you have a system to keep track of what you are going to do, as your mind can not remember everything.

Also, when have a PLAN or to do list items in front of you, you can schedule them according to when you want to work on them and you can also schedule free time in your day, which is quite important (see previous tip).

Most successful network marketers have a business plan, in which they write down what they are going to do for the next few days. I did not understand the importance of having a business plan in the beginning, but later I realized that it is absolutely necessary to have a plan like this.

Having a plan which is written down on paper, will help your reach your goal faster because it makes it easier for you to keep track of what activities you need to do and then actually do these activities. OTherwise it is quite easy to lose track of what you need to do and waste your time on doing all those things that is not moving your business forward.
